Steve Jensen, President and Founder
Steve formed Legacy Seeds, Inc. in 1999. Steve is responsible for company administration, oversight of Alfalfa Seed production, and wholesale sales and distribution. Steve has been in the Alfalfa seed industry for 36 years having served as the General Manager of Clark Seeds, Inc. and with Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. prior to forming Legacy Seeds, Inc. He and his family reside in Nampa, ID. |
Bruce Ceranske, Vice President and Co-Founder
Bruce is a 25-year veteran in the Seed Industry, and helped form Legacy Seeds, Inc. in 2000. He has a BS in Soil Science and Resource Management from UW Stevens Point. Bruce has served as an officer with the American Seed Trade Association and on various company and trade related boards. Prior to co-founding Legacy Seeds he was a Regional Manager for Cargill and General Manager/CEO for WL Research. Bruce's primary responsibilities for Legacy Seeds are research, sales and marketing, and business development. Bruce and his family live on a farm in Waupaca, WI.

Tyler Lee, Vice President and Co-Founder
Tyler has over 12 years experience in the Seed Industry and joined Legacy Seeds, Inc. in 1999. He attended Boise State University. Tyler's responsibilities include warehouse and processing operations as well as production and pollination management. Tyler resides in Idaho with his wife and children.

Jim Wold, National Corn Product and Sales Manager
Jim grew up on a dairy and hog farm in Northwest, WI. He graduated from UW River Falls with a BS in Agriculture. Jim has been in the Seed Industry for 25 years spending much of that time as a District Sales Manager and a Regional Sales Manager with NK Brand Seeds. Jim joined Legacy Seeds in 2007 and manages all corn products and sales associates. He and his wife live in Eau Claire, WI.

Kris Howard, Field Sales
Kris grew up in Waupaca in her family's seed business. She has a BS in Animal Science and Chemistry from UW River Falls and joined Legacy Seeds, Inc. in 2004. Kris' background includes sales and marketing at Waupaca Materials and FS Cooperative, where she was responsible for fertilizer blending and tower operations. Kris's primary focus is working with companies in the center of Wisconsin. Kris and her family live in Waupaca, WI.

John Riemer, Field Sales
John has over 20 years experience in agronomy and seed sales and has extensive knowledge of the dairy industry. He grew up on a dairy farm in northeast Wisconsin. John has an Associate degree in Agri-business, is a Certified Crop Advisor with the American Society of Agronomy. John has over 30 years of agronomy and sales experience having worked for Tomorrow Valley Co-op, Cargill Hybrid Seeds and the Golden Harvest Seed Company. He is responsible for building dealer sales in Northeast Wisconsin. John and his family reside in Marion, WI.

Nina Holte, National Alfalfa Product and Sales Manager
Nina has an extensive background in seed sales and agronomy. Nina received her BS in Agronomy from UW Platteville. Prior to joining Legacy Seeds, Inc., Nina worked for 15 years with the Garst Seed Company as the Wisconsin Area Agronomist. She assists the sales team in Legacy Branded Alfalfa sales, product management, and working with our private label customers throughout the United States. Nina and her family live in Coon Valley, WI.

Bill Mayes, Field Sales
Bill Mayes spent several years in the lawn and garden industry before joining Legacy Seeds, Inc. in 2003. Bill has a BS in Biology from Idaho State University. His primary focus is turf and landscape, and alfalfa and forage sales. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys and lives in Idaho.

David Huset, Research Director and Forage Plant Breeder
David is focused on developing exceptional alfalfa varieties selected for yield, persistence, disease and insect resistance, and forage quality. He received his BS in Agronomy at the UW-River Falls and his MS in Crop & Soil Sciences from Michigan State University. David worked with WL Research for 21 years prior to joining Legacy Seeds, Inc. David and his family live in Evansville, WI.

Jana Moore, Administrative Assistant
Jana Moore was raised in Idaho on a family farm. She spent 12 years in the large herd dairy industry in CO, TX, and GA. Jana returned to Idaho in 1995 and spent 10 yrs with ABI Alfalfa before joining Legacy Seed Inc. in 2005. She is responsible for all corn and soybean reporting, accounts payable and receivable and various other administrative duties. Jana, her husband, and four children live in Idaho.

Alison Wold, Marketing Manager
Alison has over 8 years of sales and marketing experience and joined Legacy Seeds, Inc. in 2008. She received her formal education at UW Stevens Point and UW LaCrosse. Alison’s primary responsibilities are to help develop effective marketing programs, oversee the company website and advertising, and general administrative tasks. Alison and her husband live in Eau Claire, WI.

Susan joined Legacy Seeds, Inc. in 2008. She has 15 years experience in Customer Service. Susan manages the daily operations and office responsibilities at the Waupaca, WI location. Susan, her husband, and two children live in Wild Rose, WI.
